I leave this afternoon for Kiel, the Baltic Sea Coast, Hamburg, and everywhere in between! I'll be back "home" in Hannover Saturday night... before leaving again Sunday morning for Giessen and Braunfels. Tuesday evening we get back to Hannover again just in time for the opera "Il Trittico." Then there are just 4 days left in this lovely city. Wow! My posts will be sparse until around June 6 probably.

This tree I found in Linden (part of Hannover) is actually wearing a little custom-made sweater! I've seen this in San Marcos before - apparently it is an international phenomenon. A friend told me about a woman who travels around the world, knitting "clothing" for various outdoor objects. I'm going to be on the lookout now - I'll let you know what else I find!
